“What If Your Girlfriend Is Taking You For Granted”
A common question that I get all the time from
my readers is, “Marius, what if I feel my girlfriend is
taking me for granted?”
Here is what I usually tell them:
Don’t blame your girlfriend. It is only your own
damn fault that she’s taking you for granted…
She’s only taking you for granted because you
LET her!
A woman will ONLY start taking you for granted
IF she knows you will “never” leave her. Unless there is
a certain “power imbalance” in the relationship, a woman
will not take you for granted because she can’t “afford to!”
So…
How do you bring back the balance to the relationship?
It’s quite simple. Start growing some spine and don’t
be afraid of losing the whole relationship all together. Pull
back from her and let her “freak out” a bit as she realizes
that she COULD lose you.
As I say all the time, the greatest power a man (or
woman) can have a relationship is the power to CHOOSE to leave
the relationship if things do not work out. Lose that power,
and your partner will lose romantic respect for you and walk
all over you eventually!
Take this power into your hands and you’ll never be
needy or have to put up with any garbage again!
