“Office Romance Tips - If You Must Engage In Office Romance”

If you’re a long-time reader, you should already
know that I am very much against office romance. As I have
said in the past, having a romance at the workplace is
one of the quickest ways to lose both. But if you absolutely
MUST engage in office romance, here are three important rules
to follow:

1) One of you should volunteer to transfer to
another department…before ANYONE finds out that you are
together.

2) Be discreet. Don’t tell anyone. Not even your
close friends at the office.

3) Avoid showing ANY kind of intimacy at the office,
even if you appear to be alone.

4) Avoid taking breaks together.

5) Avoid unnecessary business trips together.

6) Don’t use any of the company’s resources for
romantic purposes.

Breaking these rules could cost you your job…
especially if there is a no-office-romance policy at
your company!
