“Are Women Illogical When It Comes To Dating?”
A comment that I hear from men all the time is
that women are often illogical when it comes to dating.
I must admit that while I agree, at the same time I have
to add another point on top of this one:
Yes, it’s true that women are often illogical
when it comes to dating, but so are men!
As a dating coach, I can tell you how I see
guys do “stupid” things for love every day. You
think a woman is stupid for leaving the nice guy for
the jerk? How about the guy who ruins his career, his
finance, AND his family relationships for a drama girl?
Isn’t that illogical too?
Here’s the truth: attraction works on a different
level than pure logic. If you believe in Freud, then
attraction is in the ID while logic is in the Ego.
Just like a woman cannot force you to become attracted
to her without “turning you on” first, you cannot expect
a woman to be attracted to you without appealing to her
inner desires.
But of course, a fine line has to be drawn between
listening to your ID or your Ego. If you listen to
your ID and go after anything that is pleasurable,
you are either going to end up dying young or locked up
in jail. On the other hand, if you listen to your Ego only,
then you’re going to be one of those boring dudes that
women do not find attractive at all.
Your job as a “Smart Dater” is to learn how to
talk in the secret language of attraction and learn how to
please a woman’s inner desires…WHILE using logic to
screen out baggage women that are BAD for you.
The further you stray from that fine line between
attraction and logic, the more trouble you are going to
find with your love life…so maintain that balance!
